Skateboarding is about much more than a person on a piece of wood, it’s about freedom, energy and community - these are all qualities you can find in this series.

Creating a pattern of skaters but removing the skateboards is a way to visualize the essence of Vans and focus on its impact on the community of skateboarding. The energy Peter puts into his artwork is deeply personal, yet he hopes the language it speaks is universal.

Skateboarding is a way of life and Skaters is a celebration of that spirit.
